There was a fire on an island in Lake Mälaren outside Enköping on Monday evening. Two helicopters from MSB assisted in extinguishing the fire. “We have managed to protect the buildings in the area,” says Elias Koivisto, command operator at the rescue service.

On Monday afternoon, the rescue services fought a forest fire on the island of Ängsholmen outside Enköping. Among other things, helicopters from MSB are being used in the extinguishing work.
