A major forest fire broke out in La Breille-les-Pins, north of Saumur (Maine-et-Loire) on Thursday. It ravages natural spaces and continues to progress at the beginning of the evening. This is a rare event at this time of year and even more so in Indre-et-Loire: on Thursday, 10 April, the tourist firemen were called in numbers for a forest fire which was declared at the border with Maine-et-Loire, on the commune of St-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and on the village of Breille-les-Pins.
