Human caused fire in central Utah burns 300 acres with no containment
Firefighters in central Utah are continuing to work on getting a new fire under control. The Gap Fire, which is burning just south of Scipio, has burned 300 acres as of Thursday.According to Utah Fire Info, the fire that was discovered Wednesday is believed to be human-caused. UTAH- A new forest fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon east of Scipio, reported Utah Fire Info. Gap Fire is located 7 miles from Scipio on Highway 50. People are asked to stay away from the place. Flames range from 50 to 100 acres and authorities requested air support. The cause is under investigation. This is breaking news. We will soon have more information.
