British man dies after being hit by Kenyan president's motorcade - as driver arrested

A British man, Edgar Charles Frederick, aged 79, was killed in a hit-and-run involving President William Ruto's motorcade on Ngong Road in Nairobi on Thursday.
The driver of a support vehicle from the presidential convoy has been arrested by police following the incident.
Police spokesperson Michael Muchiri confirmed that investigations are underway, including reviewing traffic footage and interviewing witnesses.
Emergency responders arrived, but Mr. Frederick was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy is expected to be conducted later on Friday.
