The six-track live EP from surprise U.S. pop-up shows supports local food insecurity charities with all Bandcamp proceeds during Bandcamp Friday, the band said.
- On October 03rd Foo Fighters surprise-released a Bandcamp-only live EP titled Are Playing Where???, arriving on Bandcamp Friday when artist fees are waived.
- A recent string of intimate gigs produced the live set, recording six tracks last month in San Luis Obispo, Santa Ana, Washington, D.C., and New Haven with drummer Ilan Rubin.
- The six-song set includes Alone + Easy Target, Exhausted, Wattershed, Weenie Beenie, White Limo and Winnebago, recorded live at the Fremont Theater’s 900-capacity venue last month.
- Proceeds from the release will fund local food-insecurity charities in San Luis Obispo, Santa Ana, Washington, D.C., and New Haven, while fans can stream free or buy via Bandcamp pay-what-you-want model.
- Earlier this year the band replaced drummer Josh Freese with Ilan Rubin and teased more touring and new music with AI video and studio images, hinting at shows in the coming weeks.
