Red Wings' Dylan Larkin Submits 3-Team Trade List of Florida, Minnesota and Vegas, Source Says
On Monday, the Detroit Free Press reported that Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin is willing to waive his no-trade clause for moves to the Florida Panthers, Vegas Golden Knights, or Minnesota Wild.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported last week that Larkin requested a trade, citing Detroit's playoff absence and a "frosty relationship between the captain and the team's top hockey executive ."
The 29-year-old center recorded 34 goals and 33 assists this season, his fifth straight year with 60-plus points, and remains under contract through the 2030-31 season.
Puckpedia projects the Golden Knights have just $4.6 million in available cap space, while Detroit could explore the New York Islanders, Anaheim Ducks, or Tampa Bay Lightning as additional options.
General manager Steve Yzerman seeks fair compensation for the star, though agent Pat Brisson may need to expand the current list of preferred destinations to facilitate a deal.
