French nationals on Gaza aid flotilla deported from Israel, sent to Greece
A group of 28 French nationals who were aboard an aid flotilla to Gaza that was intercepted by Israeli forces have been deported and are expected to arrive in Greece on Monday. They are among nearly 200 activists detained by Israel.
French activists and detainees in Israel "are doing well", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assures.
Detained in Ktziot prison, these French nationals who were on board the Gaza aid flotilla intercepted this week by Israel, will be deported to Greece, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The list of expelled nationals is not yet known
The families of the French participants of the Global Sumud fleet, intercepted Wednesday evening by the Israeli army, gathered on Sunday in Paris. The quai d'Orsay announces the expulsion of 28 French people to Greece on Monday.
After their interception by Israel, the French of the flotilla were visited by diplomats at the Ktziot prison.
