Flossie has sustained maximum winds of 175 kilometers per hour (km/h), gusts of 215 km/h and moves west-northwest at 17 km/h. According to the forecast, Flossie would be degraded to hurricane category 1 by Wednesday afternoon and to tropical storm on Friday morning.
