The Flemish government is going to make a bid for the grounds of the bankrupt bus manufacturer Van Hool in Koningshooikt. This is reported by Gazet van Antwerpen and confirmed by the Flemish Minister-President to VRT NWS. "This is a unique opportunity to purchase 30 hectares," says Matthias Diependaele (N-VA). The city of Lier and employers' association Voka are also enthusiastic.
