Huis Miereveld, the community living room of the Leusderkwartier in Amersfoort, has won the Blue Zone Festival Award 2025 in the category Spatial Development. Five years ago, Huis Miereveld was nothing more than an empty school building and was scheduled for demolition. Now the building forms the social heart of the neighborhood.
