First-ever Buy Back the Block event held Aug. 2 - The Atmore Advance

A good crowd turned out for the first ever Buy Back the Block event Aug. 2 in the areas of Carver Avenue, Fourth and MLK Avenue. The event was held to help bring an awareness of the need for change after recent gun violence incidents, one involving a 17 year old who passed away from a shooting on June 24.
