Summary by Ground News
A 17-year-old Derby youth shot a man in the chest in a quiet suburban street. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pulled a sawn-off shotgun out of a bag he took to the scene in Mackworth and fired it at the stomach of Luke Taylor. CCTV of the crime, played to a jury at Derby Crown Court, showed the victim fall down, severely injured by the force of the blast. The teen and his alleged accomplice, 18- year-old Raffique Harris, have both pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
