First cruise ship to visit Port Alberni in seven years due to arrive on June 20

The 196-metre vessel has 165 residences and will anchor for two days, with excursions and local events planned around the port call.

The cruise ship “The World” will drop anchor in the Alberni Inlet June 20-21. Port Alberni has not hosted a cruise ship since 2019 when the MS Maasdam from Holland America stopped here on three occasions. The last time The World was here was in 2009.
