Firefighters Working 60-Acre Brushfire in Lancaster Area

Firefighters working to put out a 60-acre brushfire in the Lancaster area Saturday succeeded in stopping it before it spread further. The fire was reported about 2 p.m. Saturday at 50th Street East and East Avenue H, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
