A vegetation fire broke out on Brown Road at Highway 1 in Santa Maria. Five acres of grass are burning with a moderate spread time.Santa Barbara County Fire and Santa Maria Fire resources were called to the scene at 10:22 p.m. They are currently flanking the fire with water and hose lines.No structures are currently threatened.
