Firefighters rope rescue injured motorcyclist | Cranbrook, East Kootenay, Elk Valley
Members of the Jaffray and Elko Fire Departments responded to a single vehicle incident on Wardner Fort Steele Road this morning (August 4). Eleven members responded with five pieces of apparatus after a motorcyclist hit gravel, left the roadway and went down a steep embankment. Firefighters completed a rope rescue and the patient was transported by BC Ambulance to East Kootenay Regional Hospital for assessment and treatment. RCMP also attended …
