Firefighters responding to tractor trailer fire near Elko

Firefighters are responding to a tractor trailer fire on Highway 3 east of Elko on Tuesday, April 15.

Panic on the Pitesti-Craiova expressway, where a massive fire engulfed the trailer of a TIR loaded with coal. Nine tons of cargo were reduced to ashes after it reportedly self-ignited while driving. The rapid intervention of firefighters prevented the flames from spreading.
