A new four-footed mother needed some help this weekend, and the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department was quick to leap into action. Firefighters Help A Very Concerned Mother
A mother and her puppies were rescued from under a shed in Oak Grove Saturday morning. Oak Grove firefighters say they were called for a dog that had just given birth to her puppies under a shed. They were able to get the dogs and puppies out safely, and they were taken by the family to a local veterinarian. Firefighter Joshua Walker, Captain Gregory Fugitt, and Assistant Chief Dexter Stills all helped in the rescue.
