Firefighters Battle Vegetation Fire Near Perris; Structures Threatened

Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department were battling a vegetation fire Sunday that was burning at least three acres. The fire was reported around 2:35 p.m. Sunday in the 23100 block of Ellis Avenue in an unincorporated area near Perris, where firefighters reported the fire burning in light flashy fuels.
