Firefighter suffers 'extremely life-threatening injuries' in Mass. Fire Academy fall

- Chelmsford Fire Chief Gary Ryan said the firefighter "showed some motor responses and other encouraging signs," adding "We remain hopeful that he will continue to heal from his serious trauma injuries."
- An investigation into the incident is underway, Stow Fire Chief Barry Evers confirmed, while the Chelmsford Fire Department has withheld the man's name at his family's request.
