"The fire started in a warehouse and then spread to six other contiguous ones, which are of different owners. There is no record of victims and at this time [6h30] the fire continues active", added the Port Civil Protection.
All warehouses affected by the same property.
A source from the Sub-Regional Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area said that there are no victims from this fire, which started on Rua da Estrada, and for which the alert was given at 4:41 am.
At 06:40 there were 41 operatives from various Fire Departments, supported by 14 vehicles.
