Fire hall governance debate continues as Metchosin council rejects motion

A motion aimed at revisiting the governance structure of Metchosin’s proposed fire hall project was defeated by council on June 1. Mayor Marie-Terese Little brought forward a motion directing staff to prepare a report on hiring a lead consultant to help steer the project and to re-engage the fire hall steering committee to discuss the concept.
