Hay fire contained at ISU’s Dairy Barn

Ames Fire Department and crews contained a fire at the Iowa State University Dairy Barn early Friday morning. AMES, Iowa -- Fire crews were called out to a hay storage barn at the Iowa State University Dairy Barn after smoke was reported coming from the structure early Friday morning. The Ames Fire Department said the call came in at 2:30 a.m. about the fire at 52540 260th Street.
