Fire at Dhaka airport cargo terminal forces flight delays, diversions
- On Saturday , a massive fire erupted at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, forcing suspension of flight operations including landings and takeoffs.

- Panic spread as thick smoke filled the air and airport security personnel cordoned off the affected area; rescue and recovery efforts continue with no confirmed casualties.
- Investigators from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh and fire department teams have launched an investigation, and HSIA Executive Director SM Ragib Samad said `Further information will be revealed to media as soon as possible`.
