Finland to lead international bomb shelter coalition for Ukraine

Minister of National Defence Dovilė Šakalienė visited Finland on Thursday, where she met with Finnish Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen and Chairman of the Defence Committee of the Parliament of Finland Jukka Kopra. The minister emphasised that the Finnish defence model is an example for Lithuania.

President’s temporary residence in Helsinki opens to the public

The public will have a rare opportunity to visit the temporary residence of the President of the Republic of Finland in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki, on Saturday 29 March 2025. The open house event will run from 11:00 to 16:00, with the last visitors admitted at 15:00. Guests will be able to explore three rooms in the residence, each displaying contemporary art selected by President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb.
