In April, a family, including two children, had been sequestered in its Finistère pavilion by men in order to extort cryptocurrency from them. Four people were charged and two were detained.
The victims of extortion had been found tied up in a pavilion in Ploudalmezeau. The operation, led by soldiers of the Rennes Research Section, resulted in the arrest of four victims of extortion.
An operation, carried out from Monday to Wednesday, mobilized 40 soldiers from the Rennes Research Section, the Finistère Group and the intervention units, the Prosecutor's Office said that judicial information had been opened in mid-June.
