On 8 June 2026, the Council of Ministers of Rwanda approved the draft Finance Act for the financial year 2026/2027 to 7796.3 billion Rwandese francs (US$5.3 billion). This represents an increase of 12% year-on-year. In its structure, this budget will be financed at 68%, or Rwandese francs 5273.8 billion (approximately US$3.6 billion) from domestic resources.
