In recent days, PSD has been involved at the government and parliament level to solve farmers' problems: the inclusion of transitional national aid for Romanian farmers in the future Common Agricultural Policy next year and direct financial support as a measure to prevent the spread of African swine fever in Romania, have transmitted social-democrats in a statement.
The Senate Plenary adopted on Monday, at the PSD initiative, a draft law providing financial support to pig farmers for the purpose of combating and preventing African swine fever. In addition, PSD representatives confirmed that transitional national aid (TA) for Romanian farmers will also be maintained during 2027.
