Swedish pension giant has sold US government bonds worth 50 billion kroner in the past year. Pension companies in Denmark are also selling out.
According to a Danish pension fund, a Swedish asset manager has also announced the sale of U.S. government bonds.
About since Donald Trump took office as US President, a Swedish pension fund has sold US bonds in several rounds and apparently in a large-scale manner. The investment manager cites several reasons.
Danish and Swedish pension funds are selling off US government debt after Trump's pressure and policies. In Norway, the managers are sitting idly by: "In many ways, we are locked into a US system," says Olav Chen.
