In Germany, as little wine has been harvested as in 15 years. This was the result of the final estimate of the German Wine Institute (DWI) in Bodenheim near Mainz. It is 16 percent less than the average of the last ten years.

Germany is set to record its smallest wine harvest in 15 years this year, with 7.3 million hectoliters of must expected, down seven percent from last year and 16 percent below the 10-year average, the German news agency dpa reports.
