Police station near sinkhole must be demolished, says Anutin
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul insisted on Saturday that Sam Sen police station must be demolished and rebuilt due to severe structural damage, including broken foundation, caused by subsidence, which pose a safety risk.
The MRTA clarified that the sand filling of the sinkhole on Samsen Road is still proceeding according to plan. Three short piles have been added to support the Samsen Police Station building and vibration monitoring cameras have been installed.
