Fifa rejects Malaysia’s appeal over sanctions on mixed-heritage players

 - FAM is ordered to pay a fine of 350,000 Swiss francs to FIFA, while each player is fined 2,000 Swiss francs and banned from football activities for 12 months.
 - FAM has indicated they will seek the full details of the decision from FIFA before deciding on further actions, including a possible appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport .
 - Acting FAM president Datuk Yusoff Mahadi expressed surprise at the outcome, stating FAM remains dedicated to defending the rights of their players and Malaysian football.
