Prime Minister Péter Magyar stressed equality before the law after the Parliament suspended the immunity of Balázs Hankó, Miklós Seszták and himself. According to the Prime Minister, whether a factory worker, a member of parliament or a prime minister, everyone must undertake to stand before the justice system. After the parliamentary decision, Magyar also referred to Viktor Orbán's former ministers, whom he called corrupt.
Parliament opens the way for investigation against Peter Magyar
Prime Minister Péter Magyar (Tisza), former Minister of Culture Balázs Hankó and former Minister of Development Miklós Seszták (both Fidesz) were stripped of their parliamentary immunity on Monday. The Prosecutor General's Office has requested the possibility of investigating the deputies.
