On May 7, Hamburg FFA officers visited with the 6th graders and an incoming freshman who shows interest in joining FFA next year. Officers talked about what FFA is, how it works, and how members can be active within their local chapter. On May 19, FFA officers are holding a “ FFA Signing Day” for any new members planning on joining next year. Students will get to sign a letter of intent and get a certificate for joining FFA.

VERSAILLES — The Versailles Agricultural Education Department and FFA Chapter is conducting their 14th Annual Greenhouse Sale. The greenhouse is open from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday and open Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. On May 1-2, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter attended the 97th Ohio FFA Convention. During the last session held on Friday, May 2, three members were awarded the highest honor you can in the state of Ohio, the FFA State Degree.
