Community proposals to address opioid crisis sought
PITTSBORO — To address the local impacts of the opioid crisis, Chatham County is now accepting proposals to fund community-based programs and services with opioid settlement dollars. Specifically, Chatham County is requesting applications for the following strategies:

(KRON) -- Naloxone, an opioid antagonist drug used to reverse fentanyl overdoses, is now available in some East Bay libraries. The drug, which is better known under the brand name, Narcan, is available for free at three Contra Costa County Library (CCCL) locations.
