In the first years of the Bundesliga, from 1963 to 1965, Horst-Dieter Strecke was in the goal of the FCK. Later he played for Eindhoven and Nuremberg, became coach and led Mainz 05 1988 for the first time into the 2nd Bundesliga. 27 years ago he founded a goalkeeper's school and still trains the offspring.
