Fatal shooting suspect held on $1M bond, victim’s name released - Orange Leader

A 29-year-old man is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with a fatal shooting.   Police in Orange were called at approximately 2:51 a.m. Saturday to Golden Triangle Emergency Center, located at 3107 Edgar Brown Drive, in reference to a person who had been dropped off with a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures, the victim, identified as John Scott Jr., 29, of Orange, succumbed to his injuries, according to information from OPD.…
