Suspected opioid overdoses in the state up in June, down across 2025, AMR says

Recent data from the American Medical Response revealed the number of suspected opioid overdoses in New Hampshire's two biggest cities was up slightly last month compared to recent months.

Fatal overdoses trending higher in Manchester, Nashua, while overall numbers down

Data released Wednesday by American Medical Response (AMR) show that while New Hampshire’s two largest cities continued to trend below last year in total number of overdoses last month, both Manchester and Nashua are now trending higher for fatal overdoses.

Keep in mind that due to the nature of the opioid epidemic and its clear history of unpredictability, it is always possible that the trend of lower numbers could quickly change – as evidenced this month and last.
