The early heat wave continues to cause problems in parts of Europe. While records are broken in some places, temperatures in other places are already life-threatening.

Large parts of Europe are currently affected by an unusual heat wave for May. "The British Weather Authority, for example, calls the current temperatures beyond 30 degrees for this season. In France, the first warning stage in May is Orange, and according to the government, seven people have already been killed. In Austria, too, it remains too hot for the season.
