Alexandre Rossi, prosecutor of Cahors until 2024, was however released for the domestic violence that his ex-wife accused him of. According to the judgement of 1 August, the latter was fined for infringing privacy.
The prosecutor's office had requested two months' suspended imprisonment against his former co-worker, which was described as "strategic" by the defence.
The former prosecutor of Cahors Alexandre Rossi, now a substitute for the public prosecutor's office in Aix-en-Provence, was sentenced on Friday to 1,500 euros with a suspended fine by the criminal court in Montauban for violence against his children, but released for those whom his wife accused him.
