Family say murderer who won't say where wife's body is should stay in jail
A man assaulted his former partner and called emergency services reporting her unresponsive at his Slacks Creek home, according to detectives.
Investigations revealed the woman died from asphyxiation early Wednesday at a home in Logan, with paramedics performing CPR before she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested a 37-year-old man at the home, launched a homicide investigation, and identified him as the only other person present during the incident.
The victim's partner appealed to the High Court seeking closure after the Parole Board considered releasing a killer who was jailed for life in 2003 and whose wife's body remains missing.
