Family of teen claims lack of security at Tinley Park, Illinois, concert led to sexual assault of teen girl
The suit alleges Live Nation failed to secure restricted areas and prevent underage drinking, and seeks more than $50,000 in damages.

Attorney Molly Condon Wells argues the venue "owed a duty to the minor plaintiff to exercise reasonable care," alleging security failed to monitor surveillance cameras and restrict access to restricted areas.
Authorities indicted Basso, a former Arizona State University student, on four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, while the civil complaint seeks $150,000 in damages for permanent emotional distress.
The complaint references a pattern of security lapses at Live Nation-promoted events, including the 2021 Astroworld Festival; in response, the company stated "The safety and security of our guests is our top priority.
