- The move follows an 0-2 start where veteran Cooper Rush and rookie Jack Strand struggled significantly, combining for 145 passing yards during Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
- Rush has thrown four interceptions through two games, while Strand threw an interception on his first career pass attempt Sunday. The Falcons have scored only 16 points this season.
