Faculty from colleges across Michigan advocate for stronger state investment

The faculty shared governance leaders at nine of Michigan’s public universities, including Central Michigan University, convened on April 23rd at the state capitol in Lansing to discuss state investment into universities and the burden of debt placed onto students' shoulders. It is the first time in the state’s remembered history that faculty leaders have gathered to meet with legislators.
