FAA report: Baton Rouge officers struck tree with helicopter before fatal crash
The Robinson R-44 helicopter went out at 2 a.m. to help with a police pursuit and never returned. The aircraft's disappearance wasn't noticed for several hours before a search was launched. The wreckage was found before 11 a.M. The names of the officers have not been released.

FAA issues Temporary Flight Restriction in Baton Rouge after deadly helicopter crash
After a Sunday, March 26 helicopter crash that resulted in the deaths of two pilots with the Baton Rouge Police Department, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a related Temporary Flight Restriction Notice for the area.
