It has been announced that four-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel will compete in the Race of Champions (ROC) to be held in New Zealand in January 2027. This will be the first time the ROC has been held in New Zealand, and it will take place on a tarmac course specially constructed inside Hnry Stadium in Wellington. In addition to Vettel, current F1 driver Valtteri Bottas has also been confirmed to participate.
