Part of Pennsylvania under an extreme cold warning until Tuesday afternoon – dangerously cold wind chills
On Monday at 2:14 a.m. an extreme cold warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. until Tuesday 1 p.m. for Clearfield, Cambria and Somerset counties.The weather service comments, "Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 degrees below expected."

At 12:17 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service released an extreme cold watch valid from Monday 7 p.m. until Tuesday 1 p.m. for Clearfield, Cambria and Somerset counties.The weather service adds, "Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 to 25 degrees below zero possible."
Extreme Cold Expected In Other Parts Of State
Now that the area is clearing out from a massive snow storm, brace yourselves for dangerous wind chills this week. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Watch for Cambria, Somerset, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties. The watch goes into effect tonight through tomorrow afternoon. Wind chills earlier this week could range in the 10-20 below zero range.
