A group of approximately 25 climate activists from Extinction Rebellion (XR) has blocked the A12 near Zevenaar in the Netherlands. The highway in the province of Gelderland is closed in the direction of the German border, according to traffic organization ANWB. Car traffic has come to a standstill.
