Express hire Mark Coletta as new Head Coach

The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce the appointment of Mark Coletta as the organization’s next Head Coach. Coletta joins the Express with an extensive background in player development, leadership, and competitive hockey, bringing a strong commitment to building a culture of accountability, excellence, and advancement. His experience with Simon Fraser University spending 17 seasons as Head Coach in the BCIHL and NCAA D1 travel team. “We are thrilled to welcome Mark as our Head Coach,” said Coquitlam Express President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Tali Campbell. “Throughout the hiring process, Mark demonstrated a clear vision for our program, a deep understanding of player development, and a commitment to helping our athletes reach their goals both on and off the ice. His experience at the next level, his understanding of the BCHL and meeting with him over five times prior to his hiring convinced me that he could help take our program where we want it to go.” Coletta has earned a reputation as a dedicated teacher of the game, helping players maximize their potential while fostering a team-first environment.
