Explorer Academy students and staff kicked off their first week of the school year at the Cabell County Schools district office. The first day of school was initially delayed and it was then announced that the first week would start Monday, Aug. 18 at the district office. This is because there were two types of mold detected in the school building on Saltwell Road.
